A Brief Introduction To Agricultural Sprayers

Agricultural sprayer is a machine that can often be seen in agricultural production. It is an appliance that uses air suction to turn potions or other liquids into mist and spray them evenly onto other objects. As early as in China, there has been a record of using sprayers for a long time. Early sprayers were manual. Modern sprayers are generally electric.

In rural areas, sprayers are an indispensable and important agricultural tool for controlling pests and diseases.

In the era of large collectives in the last century, farmers cultivated a single land. The first crop was barley or rape, and the middle crop was mostly rice. In addition to watermelon, the cash crops might be cotton and soybeans. The sprayer at that time was a cylinder with a height of 80 cm and a diameter of about 25 cm. When spraying the medicine, put it on the ground to breathe, and then carry it behind your back. When the gas is exhausted, the mist of the liquid medicine becomes smaller, and then put it on the ground to breathe, and then carry it on your back... and so on. It is labor-intensive and time-consuming, and it is impossible to make several barrels of medicine in half a day.

In the early 1980s, the land contract rights were given to the farmers, and the farm implements of the large collective were also distributed to the households at a discount. At that time, most of the 2-3 households cooperated to get a sprayer, and one household only owned 1/3-1/2 of the sprayer. When spraying pesticides to treat insects, two or three farmers took turns to use it, making do.

Gradually, farmers began to scientifically manage their contracted land, and their grain yields were higher, their watermelons were sweeter than theirs, and their cotton was sold for more money. As a result, two or three companies using one sprayer together seems powerless. Insect pests occur in the same period, it is said that the spraying is all spraying, otherwise the best time for pest control will be delayed.

In this way, since about 1986, most people spent 25-30 yuan to buy a new knapsack sprayer, which became the first sprayer completely belonging to their own. This kind of sprayer overcomes the insufficiency of stopping and pumping the medicine in the past, and it can be carried behind the back, press the gas with one hand, and hold the cigarette rod with the other hand to spray medicine, without wasting time. The weather in summer is terribly hot, and with a bucket of potion on his back, he feels the slightest coolness. So comfortable.

With the continuous increase of the replanting area and the increase of pests and diseases year by year, the number of spraying also increases accordingly; especially for large planters with more than 20 acres, such a sprayer is completely unsuitable for reality. Since 1994, some farmers and large planters who are busy working have spent nearly 1,000 yuan to buy the third-generation sprayer, which is also the first-generation mobile sprayer.
